President’s Report – March 2019
In this month’s column, I’d like to invite you to participate in one of two “Town Hall” sessions the Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC) will have to discuss the possibility of moving to one set of dues where everyone would pay the same amount and have access to the pool and tennis facilities. Many of you may have taken the Dues Structure Survey. We learned a few things from that survey and now want to dive deeper in to the concept with your input. So…….
Come to the “Dues Structure Town Hall Discussion!”
When: Wednesday, March 13 or Tuesday, April 30 @ 7:00pm
Where: Blue Ridge Club House
Who’s Leading This Event?: The Long Range Planning Committee (Jane Caron, Marilyn Ernst, Josh Findley, Tony Perucca, Chair-Andrea Durbin, Ex Officio – Janet Wallace)
1. Current Dues Structure & Background History
2. Dues Survey Results
3. Rationale for Changing – Why consider moving to one set of dues?
4. Implementation Options – Pros/Cons
The Board has been struggling with this concept for years. It is not an easy proposition and it is far from a “done deal”. There are a number of pros/cons and considerations and the intent of the meeting will be to fully discuss them. We are now engaged in meaningful exploration and need and want your input.
Please give us your feedback. Hope to see you at one of the meetings!
