Association Manager Report – March 2019
Shareholder Meeting & Reports
It was great to reconnect with members at the 78th Annual Shareholder’s Meeting on February 4th. We handily achieved quorum with 44.96% returned ballots -Thank you! If you didn’t receive a shareholder report, drop by to pick one up, we’re usually in the office Mon-Fri, 9-5.
Each year, three board members are up for election, familiar faces rotate off, and fresh ideas are introduced. Congratulations to newly elected board members, Marilyn Ernst and Josh Findley and re-elected board member, Brooke Walker ! With the 2019 Board in place, my focus is supporting board goals and projects. As I enter my fourth year serving Blue Ridge, I continue to be impressed with this highly dedicated and collaborative group genuinely serving the greater good.
Mary Ave Tree Assessment
The Blue Ridge Club has hired arborists to conduct an arbor assessment of the Mary Ave greenbelt. As part of the assessment, trained arborists and crew members will evaluate and document greenbelt trees the week of April 8, 2019. For safety reasons, the trail will be closed during this project. Notices have been mailed to property owners abutting the greenbelt, please reach out if you’re one of these homeowners and haven’t yet received a notice.
